Every Successful Person You Know Has This

I often talk about the importance of accountability when it comes to reaching your goals.

Having someone who will help you stay on track when you may lose focus or feel discouraged is essential for your long-term success.

Think about the most successful people you know…

I’ll bet they have a partner, teammate, coach, or friend that stood by their side every step of the way to their success.

Accountability is probably THE essential component that has helped them reach their highest aspirations.

Have you ever watch the Biggest Loser show?

One of the reasons the participants are successful is because they have trainers like Jillian Michaels holding them accountable (and threatening to kick their butt!)

Just as important: The contestants are part of a supportive team that expects their members to work hard at their goals in order to win.

Their stories are inspiring. However, I’ve also seen the sad stories of those who, after the competition is over, gain ALL the weight back!

Why do you think that happened?

Because they no longer had their team and trainers there for them – not to mention the hundreds of thousands of eyeballs watching them on TV!

How about you?

Do you have an accountability partner – someone who will encourage you but who’s also willing to give you tough love when needed?

If not, you need to find one NOW.

This doesn’t only apply to your fitness and weight loss goals.

Accountability is critical to your long-term success at any goal – whether it be related to your career, finances, or even a relationship.

I’m here to help you! It would be an honor for me to be your accountability partner, too.

If you’d like to meet for a no-cost one on one coaching session in person or by phone, please email me to set it up.

I look forward to hearing from you. Have a great weekend.

I’m committed to your success.

If you’re feeling fat like me…here’s your problem

She turned and said, “Your WHY isn’t big enough.”

I just spent the last four days in training with the best (and the toughest) boot camp owners in the country.  I confessed to one of the coaches next to me at dinner that I’ve been in a nutrition rut lately – and I feel even more guilty because I know that I need to be a good example to my clients.  I have “cheated” a little too much and can definitely feel it in how my clothes are fitting.

I confess that I’m just like many of you…I struggle with motivation at times and I’m not feeling good about myself and feeling “fat.”  And you know how it is when you’re traveling – it’s even more tempting to make bad choices when you’re eating out all the time.

So, I confessed my diet woes to this amazingly-fit coach sitting next to me and she simply turned to me and said, “Your WHY isn’t big enough.”

If it’s easier for me to choose the French fries over the side salad, then my WHY for losing weight isn’t big enough.

If it’s easier for me to sleep in and not work out in the morning, then my WHY for firming my thighs and butt isn’t compelling enough.

If it’s easier for me to say, “I’ll do better tomorrow” than to make the right choice NOW, then my WHY for having a healthy body isn’t strong enough.

How are YOU doing?  Are you struggling, too?

I’ve decided to do MY own 7 Week Transformation because I want to be example of what I teach.  I share my struggles with you because, as humbling as it is to admit I’m having a hard time, I want you to know that I can relate to you.  And it’s essential for me to create a supportive network to ensure my success – which is exactly the same thing I do for our camp members!

So, I’m putting myself on the same program that my campers do and holding myself to the same accountability.  I’ll share my progress with you as I go.  Will you partner with me on this journey?  My goal is to lose 4% body fat and 10 pounds by Memorial Day Weekend.

Please feel free to also share your goals with me and let’s do this together, k?  I look forward to hearing from you!
