After having to take a week off – it was great to be back at boot camp last week! It is amazing how much better I feel after working out!

I appreciate the advice about having someone hold me accountable… I am definitely more likely to cheat if I know that other people around me are doing the same ;) It was a good reminder to get back on track!

Being sick does suck and I’ve had some comfort food but have managed to maintain this week. Back to kicking butt on monday though. Have a great weekend! And if you didn’t do as well as u wanted just start again tomorrow!

I am feeling pretty great this week. I’ve really gotten into a routine of healthy at work and brining my lunch everyday- and I notice that my energy level is more stable and that I just feel good. I’ve also cooked dinner several times this week- focusing on all natural ingredients and staying away from starches and carbs- which I looove. I’m going to hit 4 bootcamps this week, which is always my goal, and that makes me super happy. I’ve also lost a bit of weight, but what I notice more is just feeling more comfortable in my body, feeling more comfortable in my clothes. That little push is a reminder that no, I don’t want to eat crappy food this week, I like feeling good.

So long story short, I’m allowing myself to feel like a badass this week. And for anyone that’s not feeling like that this week (especially you miss Ruth) I want to remind you all how hard you’ve worked…I’ve seen it everytime I go to bootcamp. There isn’t a single lady here who doesn’t give every workout her all. It’s okay to feel crappy once and awhile, just don’t forget how hard you’ve all worked!

  4. Ruth says:

I feel like giving up…I am sick, tired and haven’t even been able to go to the store because I get home so late every night. Now I feel crappy and don’t have the energy to go to the store. Thank God I have a few days off to rest and sleep. The working out brings me energy but I don’t feel like it when I’m sick.

Sorry that’s all I have this week

I am leaving for Maui on Thursday for my daughter’s wedding and although I am not where I wanted to be by now, I am certainly better than I would have been without the challenge and boot camp. I am inspired by all of you and Priscilla. I will be sending my results to Priscilla from Maui. I did the reset last week and had pretty good results and actually kind of enjoyed it-especially not having to plan meals-it was very satifsying. I ordered anothe one so that I can take shakes and bars with me to Maui to help stay on track as much as possible. Lets all really try to finish this with a bang!! (and then keep it going afterward with all of Priscilla’s great tips)

  6. Heather says:

Leaving Friday for the mountains for a long weekend with friends. Hopefully with sneaking in a morning workout before we leave on Friday and trying to plan ahead for food I won’t get too side tracked with only a couple weeks left.

  7. Heidi says:

This week has been a challenge from holiday schedules and snow outs affecting my workout schedule. My husband asked me last night if I was grumpy because I haven’t worked out in three days, so looking forward to a good work out tonight.

Also I unfortunately I missed last night’s nutrition class as well which I was told was good. The long term success should be the ultimate goal for everyone. This challenge should be the catalyst to start a healthier life style for the future with a little bonus for some at the end. I look forward to watching the talk online.

  8. Sarah says:

My long term plan for success is to pay attention to my body, feelings, watch what I eat and exercise! My biggest hurdle will be food, I know that to be true, but tracking what I eat closely has helped keep me in line. I am going for a record this week of tracking it everyday and simply using willpower to not deter from the eating plan. I am not starving myself or do I feel deprived. I do like to exercise but there are definitely lazy days.

I plan on staying with MissFits after the challenge because I know that sometimes the motivation needs to be jump started. Holding oneself accountable is very important and sometimes we need to relearn that very simple concept. Having a group of fabulous workout friends and super trainers, helps remind me that I am not alone in this venture and that, while it is okay to slip sometimes, learning to stand on your own is key to success. I have no doubt that I will learn that lesson with MissFits and in combination with eating healthier I am on my way to a brand new me… for life.

All right alli! Can’t wait to keep hearing about your successful journeys. I’m gonna give you a run for the top :) a little competition never hurt neone right!? Don’t b so down on your self. As Allison is figuring out plan, plan, plan is the keys to success! Don’t say you cant and dont focus on anyone but yourself to get you through this challange! I know its easier if spouses and families are onboard, but they aren’t going to do the life change for you. I know cause I’ve been there. But this time I’m doing it for me and my health! Try to keep positive and just remember we arnt perfect and tomorrow is a new day!

Keep it up ladies we can do it! We are the ones in control of our cravings and we are all beautiful!

  10. Amy M says:

It is always so hard for me over the winter. I do so well at work and eat right over the week, but then the weekend kills me. I need to stay focused and make better choices. I am trying to get my husband more involved and choose more active activities to participate in on the weekends. Also, this week I have a 4p to 4a schedule, not good for bootcamp participation so I will be using my 24h pass. I plan to start scheduling and committing to those workouts as well as my schedule is hectic right now.

  11. Allison says:

Things are finally clicking for me. I spent lots of time on Sunday planning for this week and it is paying off. Exercising has never been a weak point of mine as I love exercising. Eating has always been my downfall. Yesterday and today have gone soooo smoothly because of the time I put in on Sunday. I am not eating emotionally because I am only eating what I outlined, NOTHING ELSE. I think I need this structure. I have finally ‘bought in’ to planning and spending time at night to reflect on that day along with the day to come. Watch out challengers, the pounds are going to start coming off and I am going to make a last minute surge to place in the top 3 :) :) Have an awesome week!
