Week #5: Long-Term Success Strategies

Hi ladies!

When it comes to establishing healthy habits, is it easier to develop a habit…or to maintain that healthy habit for years, decades, and the rest of your life?

We all know that it’s the rest of our lives that it’s challenging to plan for, right?  ;)

This week, we’re focusing on the Top Success Strategies to ensure your long-term success.

I’ll be sharing my best strategies with you.  How about you?  What are you working on?

Also, please share with the group on the strategies that you’ve been able to make a part of your daily life.

Let’s support one another as we reach our goals this week!

  1. I am working on trying to eat healthier by making smarter choices and planning. If you don’t plan then you have the fast food rest. knocking on your door. I also plan on preparing and eating fresh foods and stay away from the processed foods as much as possible. My son who watched Food Inc. even suggests we try and purchase our fruits and veggies from the farmer’s market and not the grocery store. I am also trying to incorporate working out at least 5 times a week. Whether it is bootcamp, running, biking or even walking the dog. If you throw exercise into your daily schedule, I think it helps you clear your mind and helps you eat healthier and feel better about yourself overall. You always feels better after a good work out and good healthy food. (I believe it gives you more energy). One last thing – I am going to incoporate into my daily life is a positive and healthy mind set of the way I think.

  2. I have really been making an effort to drink more water/tea. I’m trying to eat at specfic times as well as not eating after 8pm. That one is a hard one for me. Having fresh vegitables and some fruit on hand to munch on instead of the processed BAD FOR YOU food really helps too. If it’s not in the house I won’t eat it!
